The next day of our Ireland Adventure we made our trip to Belfast in Northern Ireland. We decided to spend new years up there in Stephen and Ryan’s house at their college. Ryan was another friend I made at camp who was incidentally best friends with Stephen in the real world. He is the only other member from camp I would see on this trip. It was interesting because we entered the house and found out that they pay for eat on a “needing heat” basis. Basically if you’re broke you get no heat, and we went a day with very little heat, the house was probably 60 degrees at the warmest, but was typically 55. There was nothing in the fridge but beer. It was really like camping.
